The Prank Generator Site, React365 Wreaks Havoc.

A site named REACT365 is a prank generator
website or app (not to be confused with React 365 Inc., an environmental corporation), where people can enter general data and the site automatically generates post-ready content for social media.

This site, react365 claim it's intended to be entertainment, however I personally, find it totally misleading and dangerous. It actually encourages people to lie by spreading false "news reports".

Apparently this new trend has grown in popularity, for example a graph found at www.pranks.trendolizer.com alleges that the number of Likes are on the
rise at a very rapid pace. That's disturbing!

It's very common for people to quickly click share and react to any given post on social media without even reading the entire article. With all the fake news, fabrications and lies circulating the globe, do we really need an app to generate more false information?

Here is an actual story shown as an example (below) how this site is causing major problems as reported at www.dcourier.com.

PRESCOTT VALLEY – Rumors of misconduct that led to an arrest at Bradshaw Mountain High School yesterday has been deemed to be nothing more than an Internet prank, according to Humboldt Unified School District Superintendent Dan Streeter.

An Internet website, React 365, which touts itself as a prank entertainment website where people can post fake news to “prank” their friends, apparently included a false report at the high school that was then circulated to some concerned parents. The report alleged an arrest.
Prescott Valley Public Information Officer Jerry Ferguson checked into the reported rumor, and stated there was no such arrest at the high school on Friday afternoon, Oct. 21.
Streeter, too, investigated, and found the rumor to be false.

Most recently I have found this article (left) circulating on my facebook newsfeed, claiming there is an AIDS breakout in a city in Ohio. As you can see I have marked up the original post to show it's a bogus post.

I'm hoping that anyone who reads this article, here at Viral Images, Real or Fake will stay on the alert for this viral trend from react365. Post vary so you have to look for name/page that started the post, as pointed out with a big red arrow (left).

These fake post could be about anything under the sun, literally! Earlier today, I saw a post claiming that a friend from my hometown had shot and killed six people at a bar. People were sharing the story on facebook like it was real. This trend needs to stop now before serious damage is done!
